The "Can't Live Without" List - Surviving the First 2 Months of Parenthood
Being a parent is not a piece of cake! It can be overwhelming, tiring, frustrating and HARD (but don't forget about wonderful and amazing)! How could such a tiny, cute mini human be so loud, demanding and bossy!!? Phil and I spent the first two months of Camden's life figuring out ways to make our new life with a baby as fun and relaxing as possible for him as well as us! This is my "Can't live without" list!
Makes nursing comfortable for you and baby. You can also use it for propping your baby up at 2 months, tummy time at 6 months and support for when your little learns to sit up.
We are huuuuge fans of baby wearing! The Sakura Bloom ring sling is so perfect! Easy to use, not bulky and even looks rad on dad! <3
Another way to wear your baby. Camden loves his ergo carrier!
Camden was born with music playing so naturally soothing background noise puts him right to sleep. Even when he wakes up during his sleep cycles, this sound machine keeps him relaxed makes it easy for him to fall right back into a deep comfy sleep.
Phil and I are terrible swaddlers! Have a couple of these on hand so baby can sleep safely and comfortably.
Favorite band of swaddle blankets. The quality is wonderful and the fabric is soft and airy! Not just for swaddling (which we suck at) but can also be used as burp cloths, nursing and stroller covers, portable cot sheets, stroller and car seat liners, tummy time blankets and change table covers.
Dr. Brown's Natural Flow Standard Bottles
Reduces Colic, Spit-Up, Burping & Gas
Pump In Style Advanced Breastpump Starter Set
Free through insurance!! Best pump! So easy to use and not super noisy!
To mask the farts and poops that will flood your house! Woods Creek Candles are my favorite. They are super scented and lovely.
Fisher-Price My Little Snugabunny Cradle 'N Swing
A GODSENT!! I can put this child in his swing and he will sleep for hours! Phil and I can enjoy peaceful dinners together, watch movies, clean the house, make dinner, shower… all those things you never thought you would be able to do with a new baby!
Traditional bibs DO NOT GO WITH OUTFITS! Ew! They look so messy! But these do! No more spit-up covered clothes!
This is in no way a "parenting post". These are little tips and tricks that work for our family.
